'Bargeld's credentials as a leading light in modern creative music are impeccable: founder of Einsturzende Neubauten and guitarist with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. He blends music, theater, film and spoken word in his work. For this show, he will be performing his piece "Rede/Speech", an exploration of the boundaries of language and music in partnership with his soundman Boris Wilsdorf, utilizing microphones, effect equipment and foot pedals, monitor boxes and two loudspeakers, and a mixing panel.'
